Does anyone know what might cause this? After like 5 cm my z axis seems to be too heavy to lift and starts grinding against printed layers... Z axis doesn't lift up enough while printing.
Ender 3 z axis issues. After like 5 cm my z axis seems to be too heavy to lift and starts grinding against printed layers. Any help would be much appreciated.
05.08.2019 · i realized that the extruder raised not enough at the beginning of the printing. I have calibrated my z axis so that when i manually move it up 150mm it moves exactly 150mm. L tightened all the concentric bolts, that helped. After like 5 cm my z axis seems to be too heavy to lift and starts grinding against printed layers. Follow asked aug 6 '19 at 8:59... Z axis doesn't lift up enough while printing.. I have been on quite the journey with this ender 3. I also made sure the z lead … I'm having issues getting my z axis to move around easily. Does anyone know what might cause this? Frustrating experience, and my temporary solution is to keep my print height to below 5 cm.. Any help would be much appreciated.
